The Front Porch Rockers play music you remember from the history of recorded music including folk, lazz, pop and rock. worid and more. Music makers include Steve Simmons, guitar and vocals: Rick Singer, percussion: Steven Sackett, bass; plus multi-instrumentalist Phil Kleinman.
Simmons has entertained both adults and kids as a solo artist and led Front Porch Trio, now Front Porch Rockers. He has performed at fall Folk Festival, Pig Out, KPBX Kids’ Concerts and many more venues and events.
Rick Singer is a third generation Spokanite who's operated his own photography studio for 43 years. Musically, he has played drums and percussion for Shannondoah, Planet Lounge Orchestra, Sidetrack, Chutzpah and many other bands.
Steve Sacket began playing bass in a variety of rock bands in his teens and with bands that include Hussy, Calico, Oasis. He co-led a Dan Hick and his Hot Licks Tribute Band for over 15 years plus Butterscotch Blonde with Maxie Kay Mills.
Phil Kleinman has been performing off and on since high school in Arizona and San Francisco. Kleinman began with guitar and picked up other instruments like pedal steel, banjo, mandolin, dobro and harmonica.
