June is PRIDE! πβ¨π This month weβre celebrating love in all its expressions and gathering with our beautiful rainbow of a community. Late nights are always potlucks, feel free to bring a dish or NA beverage to share.
What to expect:
Fusion dancing allows you to blend different dance styles together to create a unique experience with each partner. The lesson covers core principles of partner dance such as frame, connection and musicality, and how to use them to dance with partners of all different backgrounds. Our teachers come from a wide range of dances and bring their own flavor and skill set to each lesson for new content every class. No partner or prior dance experience is required.
6:50PM to 7:00PM - Check-in and begin warm-up
7:00PM to 8:00PM - All-levels fusion Lesson taught by Sammie Anne McKibben
8:00PM to 12:30AM - Social dance with THREE DJβs Raven Wilson, Audyssey & Karolos Notis
Lesson topic: Switch it up!
Cost:
$10 for the lesson
$15-20 sliding scale for the social dance
$20-25 sliding scale for the lesson + social dance
Please bring:
- Your photo ID
- Proof of your Covid-19 vaccination, a hard copy of your card or your CA digital vaccination record QR are both accepted. Find your QR here: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/
-A water bottle, we have a refill station, letβs be sustainable!
- Comfortable clothing and shoes you can move in easily. Comfort is key!
