mems musical immersion

Join us for an immersive afternoon of art, nature, and sound with mems, a collective of musicians, artists, and friends from from Baltimore's Queer community. Known for their electro-acoustic improvisations shaped by attentive listening and environmental cues, mems creates music inspired by everything from jackhammers to beetles. This unique event begins with a panel discussion on listening and the environment (2:00–2:40), followed by a facilitated forest walk (2:40–3:20), and concludes with a live performance by Mems (3:20–4:00).

All activities begin and end in Cylburn Arboretum’s Formal Garden. This event is FREE but registration is required.
