Movie Nights are a long-standing tradition in the Village Commons on Wednesday nights throughout the summer. Movies begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 pm), and a free activity for kids is provided prior to each movie beginning at 7:30 pm.
Again this year, the Village will offer a designated area for teens and pre-teens to help preserve the family-friendly nature of our Movie Nights. Teens and pre-teens are no longer permitted to walk throughout the Commons during these events. Instead, they are welcome to sit on the lawn and enjoy the evening's movie, or they will be directed to Firefighter's Park (located just behind the New Lenox Police Department) where music and lawn games will be available in an area specifically designated for them. Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines will be asked to leave.
