Womxn’s Highline Meeting 15

A woman-driven festival that engages and connects women from around the world in a shared interest in Slackline and Highline. This festival is a chance to create a safe space by women and for anyone who identifies as a woman, girl, non binary or gender-queer and would feel that they belonged in a women's space. The sport of Slackline and particularly it's more extreme extension of highlining was and is a male dominated endeavor; and this festival gives women the chance to be a majority, an opportunity rarely realized within the highline community. With a communal shared house and quick access to the highlines, this event fosters independence and peer-to-peer education, with the more experienced highliners sharing knowledge with those just entering the sport. The WHM prides itself on being open to women at any stage of life, so children are welcome at this event.

Highlines between 12m and 96m-230m long, Table Bouldering contest, Big shared house, Lake to swim in, Czech Restaurant and Pub, and a basically Utopian society for one whole week!
