Black Music Fridays featuring Steve "A-Phlat" Adams

Weekly outdoor concert series that highlight local jazz bands to commemorate the rich history and purpose of Black Music and culture. The purpose of Black Music Month recognizes the influence of African American musicians and their contributions to American music. Black Music month was originally declared in June by President Jimmy Carter, recognizing the pivotal role Black musicians have played in shaping America’s cultural landscape.
