Buggin the Dragon 8

do you have a fascination for old VWs and a mild adrenaline addiction? if so this is the event for you. We here at Buggin the Dragon are proud to announce our 8th event through the beautiful Smokey Mountains. This two day event will take you some of the most beautiful scenery you will ever see and on the best driving roads in this country! We drive over 200mi on our adventure and hit roads like Foothills Parkway, Moonshiner 28, and the Infamous US129 The Tail Of The Dragon. The road is famous for having 318 corners in 11mi and is a must drive for any auto enthusiasts.

we have two Friday rides, one in the morning that departs at 9am from Little River pub and Deli in beautiful Townsend Tn and will take you up Butterfly gap to "the top of the world".
Friday evening ride departs at 6pm from The peacefull side social and will take you down "The Missing link" of Foothills parkway.

Saturday our main ride!
line up starts at 8am at The Peaceful Side Social and rolls out at 10am. We hit the old section of Foothills, The Dragon, Fontana dam and Moonshiner 28 before slaying the dragon again.

please keep an eye on our event page for more info. event is open to all VWs but is ran at an Air-Cooled pace. we will have supprt vehicles to help with any issues that may arises.
