To This End Shall I Live: My Search for Disability History in Nebraska 1890-1920

In this presentation, disability writer Amanda VanderBroek highlights the stories of several disabled Nebraskans who lived at the turn of the 20th century, from everyday people to an author, film actor, and sideshow performer. She also shares the both fascinating and frustrating aspects of studying this subject in history. Amanda has written and spoken about various topics in disability for over ten years and holds a Master of Arts in Critical and Creative Thinking from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
