Anne Marie Menta hails from New Haven, CT, where she has been writing songs since she was a teenager. As a long-time favorite CT singer/songwriter, she has released four albums, including her most recent recording Sky Tonight in 2020.
Anne Marie has been a featured performer at the CT Folk Festival in New Haven, CT, coffeehouses and clubs, as well as opening for major artists. She was a finalist in the 2004 South Florida Folk Festival Singer/Songwriter competition, and a showcase artist at NERFA (Northeast Regional Folk Alliance.) Her tunes are moving song memoirs where autobiography meets storytelling, the personal meets the universal, childhood haunts adulthood, love meets loneliness, and friends and family embrace love.
