Tuckaseegee River Cleanup

Join Carolina Canoe Club, Swain Clean and others for our annual joint cleanup at the confluence of the Tuckasegee River and Fontana Lake. Meet on June 30th at 8:30 am in Monteith Park near the Old 288 Boat Launch. We’ll have volunteers working both on the water and from the riverbank, as well as along the road and park areas to remove trash and debris. Lunch will be provided to all volunteers at the picnic pavilion by the boat ramp after the clean up.
