Calling all worker bees who love our beautiful Highland Trail System and can help trim up our trails!!
Believe it or not, a lot of work goes in to maintaining our trails. Our local DNR team are amazing partners who help but the majority falls on our volunteers. We are constantly looking for ways to improve your riding experience. This is one way we are able to do this.
Join us on Saturday, August 9th at the Highland Rec Staging Area.
What to expect:
We will meet at 9am. You will be treated with delicious donuts and HTRA comradery. We then assign portions of the trail system to our volunteers. From there, youβll enjoy a beautiful scenic walk and chat with friends while snipping away.
What to bring:
Aside from your fantastic self, bring loppers, pruners, sheers or whatever hand held branch trimmer you have. Donβt have any loppers or snippers? No worries. We bring spares. Bring gloves and bug spray (youβll thank yourself)
