All Aboard for a Day of Family Fun and Railway History!
Join us for a full day of exciting activities at the Southern California Railway Museum! Enjoy mainline train rides featuring Coaster 2105, take a step back in time with historic trolley rides, and get an up-close look at the beautifully restored Santa Fe 5704, on special display for the day.

The festivities continue with outdoor lawn games and hands-on crafts for kids, perfect for families looking to make fun memories together. Bring a picnic to enjoy in our Holstrom Park, or stop by our Museum Store for some ice cream, snacks, and cold drinks. Plus, don't miss the chance to explore our fascinating exhibit spaces, including:
- Carbarn 1 – Home to our Los Angeles Railway streetcars
- Grizzly Flats Barn – Featuring our 1880s narrow-gauge collection
- Carbarn 4 – Showcasing VC-2, our steam locomotive, and the -Pacific Electric Blimp collection
- Fred Harvey Exhibit – A glimpse into the golden age of railroad hospitality

You'll also have the opportunity to see our Steam Crew in action, as they continue work on VC-2’s 1472-day inspection during this scheduled restoration weekend.
