Kennett - Poly Pipe Joining for Utilities

This course covers the heat and electrofusion joining processes for polyethylene gas and water pipes. Participants will engage in several hours of hands-on fusion with pipe sizes ranging from ½” to 4”. The training is applicable to natural gas distribution, water distribution, and the joining of electric and fiber innerduct.
By the end of the class, you will have a thorough understanding of how to easily join these pipes using various techniques and procedures. This course is ideal for new utility employees and serves as an excellent refresher for all.
This training program is funded by the Workforce Training Grant from the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED).
This one-day training will take place on July 24 behind the Board of Public Works building at 205 Carey Street, Kennett MO 63857. This class is in-person only.
DNR Course Number 2504669 - 6 hours each for water treatment, distribution, and wastewater.
Deadline to register: July 10, 2025
