"You sound like Bob Dylan," people often tell John Allen James, "except you can sing!" That doesn't make any sense to him, either. "But everyone means it kindly," he says, "so I don't argue."

John's shows feature classic favorite songs from the 1950s to today along with a few tunes from his own four albums and three EPs.

In addition to venues around the Suncoast, John has also played live numerous times on WMNF and WSLR radio.
