Scranton’s Good Things Are Happening Fest is the culmination of what makes this city great – a day of music, art, food, drink, and vendors, held at the historic Iron Furnaces. Named after the famous local news station segment, this inaugural event was born from a spontaneous "what if?” tweet. Indebted to many local organizers already working to push alternative culture forward, Good Things Are Happening pays homage to this mentality. Since August 2022, the festival has positively impacted the city, reinforcing the need for music, arts, and collaboration to continue. As we get ready to roll out year four, we have the ambition to expand this cultural affair that gathers people from all over the country to the great town of Scranton.
Join us for year four on 9/6/25 at the historic Scranton Iron Furnaces.
