Needed Legal Documents (co-ed event)

Perry has arranged for an attorney, Shelby Beal, to present the legal documents you may need to safeguard you and your wishes in case of an emergency. The presentation will be geared to singles, non-married couples, and married couples. These are troubling times and it is best to be prepared for the worse case. Some of the topics to be covered are:
- If hospitalized who has visitation rights
- If unable to make medical decisions who can make them on your behalf
- Who can assist with insurance issues,
- Who can have access to financial institutions, SSI
- What can be done if same sex marriage is declared illegal
- If you had documents prepared and filed in another state does South Carolina present any issues
The presentation will be held at between 2 and 4pm at the All Souls Waccamaw Unitarian Universal Church off Rt 707 (across the street from Socastee Post Office).
