In this very special performance, Keese and accompanist Julian Lyngcoln will perform compositions from two albums, "Minutiae" and "Illuminator".
"Minutiae" – described by Doug Wallen as "a crystalline study in how meaningfully the natural resonances of a piano can play with the subtle electronic shadings of synthesiser and digital effects" features meditative, reflective works that move slowly and with meaning.
Keese's latest album "Illuminator", on the other hand, represents a significant progression, being an ambitious and more intense work that combines piano with synthesised orchestral and electronic arrangements, both rhythmic and musical.
Through the use of grand piano, programmed backing tracks and live synthesizer, Keese and Lyngcoln will take listeners on a deeply immersive and very beautiful musical journey that will blur the boundaries between acoustic and electronic instrumentation.
