Food School Friday – 13th June at Kendal Farmers Market
We’ve got a right treat lined up in the Market Place on Friday 13th June – our Food School is on, and it’s buzzing (literally). Three cracking demos, completely free to watch, and all from local legends who really know their stuff.
11am – Thomas from Cross Apiary brings live bees (don’t worry, they’re enclosed!) and a brilliant talk on how nectar becomes honey.
12 noon – Frank from Piper Hole Dairy Goat Farm will show us how to make cheese using milk from animals grazed on lush herbal pastures. With insights into organic farming and happy goats.
1pm – Jude from Black Horse Farm Flowers will chat about growing flowers sustainably, locally, and beautifully – with the lowest flower miles going.
So, grab a coffee (From Michael from Bean & Dunne Coffee), take a seat, and be prepared to be entertained.
