Join writers Caroline Bergvall, Rishi Dastidar, Gareth Evans, Jessica Taggart Rose, Lucia Dove, Rose Ravetz and Daniel Kramb at Estuary 2025 for this celebration of writing from, inspired by, and about the estuary.
The event at the Thameside Nature Discovery Park marks the launch of "the poetry bench,β a stacked timber structure that has a selection of Daniel Krambβs Little Estuaries engraved by wood-burning artist Fawn Brinkley.
The bench, part of the SEEPark project, overlooks the 11-hectare Golden Gates Lake in this wild haven on the banks of the Thames, opening out into the estuary.
Taking the bench as their stage, the writers will bring a multitude of voices to this scarred, haunting, and beautiful landscape.
