A celebration of the 275th anniversary of possibly the greatest composer of all time, Johann Sebastian Bach. Continuing his project to play the complete works of Bach in this anniversary year, internationally acclaimed organist and Abbey Music Director, Huw Williams, performs his sixth concert in the series.
This evening’s performance features the expressive variations on ‘Sei gegrüsset Jesu gütig and the Fifth Trio Sonata in C major, one of Bach’s most joyful works.
The infamous Toccata and Fugue in D minor, one of the composer’s best known works, brings this concert to a spine tingling climatic end!
