"For every bear that ever was, there will gather there for certain Because today's the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic...." Come on down to the Lithgow Library on Wednesday, the 16th of July, from 10.30 am and join the Library as we welcome back our annual Teddy Bear picnic and sleepover! Come and enjoy stories, craft and songs for a special Storytime.
After Storytime, children and families are welcome to stay and bring a blanket to share a special morning tea with their teddies. The Library will provide snacks but parents and families are advised to bring their own picnic lunch. After our picnic, children will have the opportunity to leave their furry friends behind to enjoy a sleepover at the Library!
The library staff will document what the teddies get up too and all will be shared on the Lithgow Libraries Facebook page. We look forward to our Teddy Bear picnic and sleepover every year, this year we have decided to have a PYJAMA THEMED celebration! Everyone is welcome to wear their pjs and have a cozy morning in the Library. We look forward to seeing you all there! NO Bookings required.
