deCadenza - 10th Anniversary Concert

deCadenza - Marlborough Civic Orchestra and friends present our 10th Anniversary Gala Concert featuring local musicians, remarkable composers and special international guest artists. Conducted by maestro Tony Ferner, this orchestral celebration features international concert pianist Michael Tsalka performing the magnificent Emperor Concerto by Beethoven; rising NZ cellist Caitlin Morris playing the emotional Kol Nidrei by Bruch; NZ Opera star Robert Tucker with sensational arias; renowned CSO violinist Cathy Irons with Sarasate’s virtuosic Zigeunerweisen; and Blenheim Choral joining us for stirring works by Sibelius and Handel. This thrilling concert will also feature the world premiere of a newly commissioned work, composed by Kodi Rasmussen. A concert 10 years in the making, not to be missed!
