Warrnambool Theatre Company presents “The One That Got Away” – a scriptwriting and performance event over two weekends!
We've all got one that got away. It could be the girl, the fish, the job, the pet, the Malteser....
Part One: Join us at TOAD Hall on Saturday, July 5, from 2–4pm for a workshop facilitated by local playwright and director, Ross McCorkell and his co-writer, Lex Waterreus. The session will explore the theme “The One That Got Away." Participants will then have the opportunity to submit a piece for feedback and potential performance.
This is a free workshop for WTC members. You can sign up to be a member here. Places will be capped at 25 people so get in quick!
Part Two: Performers will rehearse and present selected scripts (with scripts in hand) on Sunday, July 13, at 5pm to an open audience at the Royal Hotel. Entry is free for WTC members or by gold coin donation for non-members. Drinks will be available at bar prices.
