Curious about that salamander you saw on a hike?
Want to know how to ID frog calls in the spring?
Nervous to go anywhere outside because you think snakes are out to get you?
Come learn about our native reptiles and amphibians! Smithsonian herpetologist Sara will give an overview of the awesome critters that live in our backyard, and give you tips on how to live peacefully with them. We will talk about natural history, behavior, venom first aid, and much more. Bring your questions, as this will be a very interactive class!
**This event is free! Donations will be accepted for a local nonprofit herpetologist group.
**Optional walk along the farm trails, so come prepared with a snack, water bottle, camera and hiking shoes.
**Please RSVP by texting 434-365-4277 or PM Landon Farm. We would like to limit the group to 20, if possible.
