Wednesday, July 30th at 12:00 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room, American Pop Artist Michael Albert will be bringing his nationally renowned “Modern Pop Art Experience” Art program to the Montrose Regional Library!
Michael is nationally known for making collage artworks from cereal boxes & other printed cardboard consumer brand packages. His work has been described as a cross between Pop Art, Cubism & Recycling.
The “Modern Pop Art Experience” will include a short presentation with the artist and a hands-on collage workshop where participants get to create their own collages using the same materials he uses to create his serious works of art.
The program finishes with a FREE POSTER GIVEAWAY & SIGNING – Mr. Albert brings about 21 different prints for the each participant to choose from as a special gift for coming to the event.
Everyone is invited to this event especially kids, teens, and their families.
