Tuesdays in the Park: Nanny Nikki + No Turn On Red

Join Northbrook Park District for our FREE summer concert series at Village Green Park! Every Tuesday, kick off the evening with a children's musical performance followed by all-ages entertainment.
At 6:30 p.m., the Grammy nominated children’s musical act Nanny Nikki will bring zest to classic children’s songs with a sprinkling of original music and puppets that will get crowd to dance and sing along.
At 7:15 p.m., solid funk band No Turn On Red delivers thick killer grooves with an injection of New Orleans brass band flare. The bands’ influences include the Meters, Rebirth Brass Band, James Brown, Jimmy Hendrix, The Dirty Dozen, Lettuce, Tower of Power, Galactic and the great Stevie Wonder.
In the case of inclement weather, the event may be moved indoors to the Northbrook Theatre located at inside the Northbrook Park District Leisure Center, 3323 Walters Ave. Please note, alcoholic beverages are prohibited at this event. Dogs are prohibited during park events per Northbrook ordinance.
