PRESIDENTS CUP & AUSTRALIAN OPEN

Australian Taekwondo is thrilled to announce the return of two major international Taekwondo events to Australia: the 2025 World Taekwondo President’s Cup (Oceania) and the Australian Open. These prestigious competitions will take place from August 14-17, 2025, at the world-class Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, attracting elite black belt athletes from around the globe.

The 2025 President’s Cup will be a G3 event, offering increased world ranking points, while the Australian Open will hold its status as a G2 event. Both competitions will feature Kyorugi (Sparring), Para-Kyorugi, Poomsae (Patterns), and Para-Poomsae, delivering an inclusive and thrilling experience across multiple disciplines.
