ARRL Field Day 2025

The Livonia Amateur Radio Club, with our partner FARL, the Ford Amateur Radio League, will again take part in the annual ARRL Field Day. FD is a nationwide event in which individual hams and clubs operate under simulated emergency or disaster conditions- in the field with portable gear, off-grid with generator, battery or solar power. Participating stations exchange a message with the number of transmitters in use, and their ARRL geographic section. We employ modern digital communications protocols as well as familiar voice and old-school Morse code. LARC members may operate or assist with logging. Fellow hams and the public are invited to visit the site!
We're in it for the practice, for the opportunity to have fun with our fellow amateur radio operators and club colleagues.
