June General Meeting

The Rio Rancho Astronomical Society will host its regular monthly meeting on Friday, June 27th, at Rainbow Park Observatory, 301 Southern Blvd. in Rio Rancho (Behind Rainbow Pool). Our speaker is Dr. John Ryan, who will discuss the role of constellations in antiquity, mostly Greek and Roman, and how they were used by astronomers, poets, and rulers.

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Weather permitting, telescopes will be available for public stargazing after the meeting.
