Japanese Bookbinding Workshop

Known for her experimental and innovative approach to art, Karen Dardinski leads this bookmaking workshop using the traditional Japanese “stab binding” technique. Students will use a combination of recycled materials, vintage wallpapers, and handmade Japanese and Italian papers to create their own hand-bound book. Karen’s attention to detail and high quality materials ensure a unique finished product that can be used as a personal sketchbook, photo album, journal, etc., and also makes a lovely gift!

One, 2-hour session: Friday, July 25, 2025. 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Cost $95*. Class Class Limit: 8.
