The Key West Business Guild is excited to announce "A Night of Queer Crooning and Comedy" as part of the official Key West Pride celebration. This event will take place on Wednesday, June 25, at the Key West Theatre, located at 521 Easton Street, beginning at 8 PM. The evening will be hosted by local comedian and journalist Gwen Filosa, alongside the beloved drag queen Puddin’ Tain.
Headlining this special night will be LGBTQ+ comedian and actor Quin Lamar. Known for his engaging performances and sharp wit, Quin brings a unique perspective as a 6’4” gay Black man navigating contemporary America. He has gained popularity through his stand-up comedy, often addressing pressing issues with humor and insight. Quin's work includes appearances on various comedy platforms and television shows, and he can also be heard on the Official Marvel Podcast. Currently, he is touring the country, captivating audiences with his distinctive comedic style.
Opening the evening will be rising LGBTQ+ sensation Beane, an alt-pop artist based in Los Angeles. Beane's vibrant and feel-good performances have garnered a global fan base, highlighted by a top placement on American Idol and an appearance on The Ellen Show. Over the past few years, Beane's original music has resonated with audiences from Melbourne to Denver and London. He spent 2024 opening for Alisa Amador and Tiny Habits, and recently opened for Trousdale in Spring 2025. Beane is also preparing for the release of his debut album, “Pretty Boy,” scheduled for Fall 2025.
Following this spectacular evening, guests are invited to the Tiki House at 203 Duval Street for an after-party benefiting Key West Pride. While details remain under wraps, it has been hinted that a certain cartoon character may fit into the evening's theme.
