Join us for Big Gumdrop Outdoors’ biggest event of the summer—Community Lake Day! This end-of-summer celebration brings together families, friends, and community partners for an evening of outdoor fun, connection, and exploration.
Held at Holmes Lake (near Shelter 3), the event features a wide range of free activities for all ages, including fishing, kayaking with Lincoln Paddle Company, campfire cooking, and nature-themed activity booths hosted by incredible partners like Nebraska Game and Parks, Lincoln Parks and Recreation, Audubon Spring Creek Prairie, Lincoln City Libraries, and more!
Be sure to stop by early—free t-shirts featuring a winning youth design will be available for all participants and families, while supplies last. Dinner will be provided.
