»» The Greensboro Arboretum is a 17-acre site that features 14 plant collections, special display gardens and distinct structural features, including a section of North Buffalo Creek that was recently restored in partnership with the Water Resources and Parks and Recreation Departments. Join the City of Greensboro’s Stormwater staff member, Blake Strumbel, as he takes a stroll through the projects history, primary design components, and its impacts. We will walk the key features of the project totaling just over ¾ of a mile. Closed toed shoes are encouraged! Bring a reusable water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and bug spray if needed.

After the talk please feel free to wander the park until 8 pm.
