The Gone, But Not Forgotten Community Walk is an annual city-recognized event held every last Saturday of August to kick off the City of Omaha's September's Cold Case Awareness Month. Along the walking path families honoring the lives of their murdered loved ones whose cases remain unsolved while featuring a few solved homicides to show a community that it can be done. Families of the Stolen (FOTS) leads this powerful tribute, bringing together grieving families, community members, and city officials to walk in remembrance, raise awareness about cold cases, and advocate for justice. With photos, signs, and stories, each step taken serves as a call for accountability and a message that these lives—and the families left behind—will never be forgotten. MARK YOUR CALENDARS..
