Ian McMahan Live @Salty Turtle Beer Raleigh

Ian McMahan is a solo acoustic guitarist and vocalist from Jacksonville Beach, FL, and has lived in the Triangle since August of 2023. Ian’s love for music began as a small child, and his musical ability showed at an early age. Whether it was listening to all types of music with his family members or watching his dad play guitar and other instruments, he was able to find a vast appreciation for music and pick up a natural feel for it.

Being from the beach in Florida and living in a diverse area of the state, Ian’s taste in music is wide-ranging and it shows when he plays music. Favorites of folk, rock, indie, pop, country, R&B, soul, reggae/ska, punk, and hip-hop from all decades shine through in Ian’s repertoire. He loves to play music that makes him happy and enjoys playing to his crowd, the weather, and the general energy of an environment.
