Quilting Level 2: Intro To Block Construction

This beginner friendly quilt block will introduce students to quilt block construction called piecing. Learn how to cut your block pieces using a ruler and rotary cutter, sew half square triangles, and assemble the block by nesting seams. The pattern we will be using is based on the Peeping Cats Block by Elizabeth R. and will be a 2 color block using fat quarters.

Supplies Needed: 2 - fat quarters in two different colors - 1 for the cats and 1 for the background and 4 - 7/16" or 11mm buttons. Any supplies purchased for class at Craft Habit will receive a 10% discount.

Supplies Provided: Sewing machines, sewing tools, rulers, cutting mats, and thread to be used in class.

This class is open to ages 12+.
Class Requirements
Prerequisite: Sewing Level 1 at Craft Habit, or equivalent experience.
Students must be comfortable setting up & threading a sewing machine

Cancellation Policy
Class registrations are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, you may find another person to take your place in class. Please let us know their name in advance of class starting.
Classes cancelled by Craft Habit WILL be refunded in full.
