Chef Somath Om is the co-owner of Coco Leaf, in Dorchester. He's a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute and has worked in Michelin starred restaurants in Spain. In the United States, he's worked for many years as chef de cuisine of O Ya restaurant in New York City. Once he moved to Boston, he decided to open Coco Leaf, a local Vietnamese hangout spot for students and the community.
