TEA SERVICE WITH MAOKO UMEDA

Join Program Assistant & JOI Coordinator Maoko Umeda from the University of Northern Iowa as she presents a Japanese tea ceremony. The ceremony is highly ritualistic and focuses on the process of preparing and drinking green tea, usually Matcha, in traditional and cultural settings with an emphasis on mindfulness.

Maoko will walk through the ceremony and share information about etiquette and ritual.
