Harvest Enchantment - Lammas Corn Poppet Soirée

Join us Friday, August 1st at 5pm for a Lammas Corn Poppet Making Soirée with Jessie from Lang's Hearth and Homestead!
Enjoy Hors d'oeuvres and Craft Mocktails as Jessie thoughtfully explains Lammas (Lughnasadh), the traditional first harvest festival that marks the transition from summer abundance to autumn preparation.
Rather than viewing this as merely one point on an endlessly repeating wheel of the year, you'll examine Lammas as part of nature’s evolving spiral - where each turn brings new growth and understanding rather than simply returning to the same place.
During this hands-on workshop, you’ll craft your own traditional corn poppet (a small doll made from corn husks) while learning about harvest traditions. Beyond just following tradition, Jessie will discuss how these practices can be adapted to create personal meaning relevant to modern life and individual spiritual paths.
Participants take home their handcrafted corn poppet, educational handouts, and a deeper understanding of harvest symbolism beyond conventional frameworks.
Tickets for this gathering and workshop are $35 and can be purchased through the event link or by calling/texting the shop at (920) 764-3007. We hope you will join us!
