Intro to Bees and Beekeeping

Intrigued by honey bees? Interested in starting your own backyard hive? This class will focus on bee biology and behavior and how to get started as a beekeeper, including discussions of city and state regulations, required time and financial commitment, a demonstration of necessary equipment, and information on where you can get your own bees.

This is a classroom-based workshop, and after this classroom section, you will be primed to continue your bee education with a hands-on workshop.
