Stitching Stories ~ Narrative Textile Collage

Join Christina Seashore and Sierra Sunrise in harnessing the transformative power of art-making. In this class, fiber and fabric become the media for creating visual stories. Through hands-on textile arts, we will share personal visual narratives crafting textiles that are imbued with intention and meaning. This series offers a space for a unique connection as we come together to engage in communal acts of artistic creation.
We will experiment with conventional textile techniques in unconventional ways. These include machine sewing and hand stitching, fabric manipulation and deconstruction, embellishing, dyeing, stencil bleaching, image transfer, gelli printing, and painting techniques.

- Phrases, words, or symbols that have a deep connection to your identity or experiences
- We encourage you to bring an item or symbol that speaks to your sense of community and connection.
All materials and instructions are provided. No experience necessary!
