Description: Ages: 8 and up. For beginning to advance students! This fast paced course will navigate the fundamentals, provide demonstrations, and assist learners with techniques. You will create pieces from mud to your own one of a kind piece, while learning the basics of wheel throwing. You will learn how to form basic functional pieces like cylinders, bowls and mugs. Wheel Throwing Class is a six week long course with one additional date for a collective studio cleaning and pick up for materials and pieces. You will have one classes a week.



Week 1: Introduction Wheel Throwing Basics

Week 2: Throwing Continued

Week 3: Throwing Continued

Week 4: Throwing Continued

Week 5: Trimming, Touch up, Under glazing (Bisque fire)

Week 6: Firing, Glaze and Glaze Fire

Week 7: Deep clean studio, Pickup pieces
