What Does a Forester Do? Forestry in the North Country by Beth Daut

Beth Daut has worked in the forestry sector with industrial, investment, municipal and non-industrial private forest landowners for more than 40 years. She started out with International Paper Company in 1984, working in Maine, New Hampshire and the Adirondacks. She has owned and managed a consulting business, starting in Vermont and now here in New York, for the past 15 years. In addition to traditional management, her work has included multiple carbon offset verification projects around the country. Beth currently resides in Wanakena.
