Botanical Printing Workshop

Botanical printing is a natural dye technique where leaves are placed on paper or fabric and heated to release the dyes inside them to make images.
In this 3 hour workshop with Susan, D Martin, you will be using seasonal leaves gathered in Pembrokeshire to create your own designs. These can be used for special greetings cards and printed fabrics (which make a great starting point for embroidery!). All materials will be supplied and preprepared for you, using a mordanting process which allows the dyes to bond to the fabrics – explanations will be given as we go along.
Please bring with you an apron or old clothes! This workshop is not suitable for children, and has a minimum age limit of 16 years of age.
For more information and booking please visit our website.
