Mr Straw's House Monthly Worksop Walk

The Worksop Walk starts from outside Mr Straw's House at 5 Blyth Grove. Our team of knowledgeable volunteers will lead visitors on a walk through the town, revealing snippets of history and its relationship with the Straw family.
You'll discover all about this once prosperous town as you retrace the footsteps of the family, from their home to their place of work, and onto their final resting place.
The walk takes around 3 hours and includes a comfort and refreshment break at the Aurora Centre.
If you wish to tour the house at the end of the walk, please remember to book this in advance through the Mr Straw's House website, as we can't guarantee there will be slots available.
The team will aim to be back at the house for approximately 13.00, however we advise against booking the 13.00 slot to visit the house in case the walk overuns slightly. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a refreshment in the tea room, or bring a picnic to enjoy in the orchard while waiting for their house visit.
Booking is essential through the ticket link - £5 per person.
