Come along for a free, defibrillator familiarisation session in the village hall.
This is not a formal classroom course, but designed to answer questions, give basic instruction, be interactive and create confidence within the community.
The 90 minute session will cover -
• What is Sudden Cardiac Arrest?
• What to expect when you dial 999
• How to do CPR and why
• A practical demonstration
• How to use our AED
• Recovery position/turning a patient
• Handover to the Paramedics
• Governance and support
This training is funded by monies raised from the village Christmas Lights. Refreshments will be provided.
