🇩🇴 Traditional/Dominican Bachata originates from the Dominican Republic. It's about feeling, fun, improvisation, and connection—not just footwork. Bachata includes slow, medium, and fast songs.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐔𝐬:
Bachata Dominicana Copenhagen was founded by Lærke Birk in 2020. Since 2023, it’s been led by Mette Larsen, who continues to bring fresh inspiration from Dominican festivals, instructor courses and travels to the Island.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞:
Mette has been teaching dance since 2006. She fell in love with Dominican Bachata in 2020 and has since spent 7 months immersed in the Dominican dance communities. In 2022, she completed an instructor course with BachataDominicanaRD, focusing on personal style, connection, non-verbal communication, and cultural background.

Café Globen is a unique, travel-themed café in the heart of Copenhagen, known for its cozy atmosphere and welcoming vibe. The café is run by passionate volunteers who love bringing people together through events like this. All tickets include one drink (soda, wine, or beer), making it the perfect place to enjoy Bachata in a warm and friendly environment.
