Silk Painting Workshop

Discover the enchanting art of silk painting with artist Laura Hollis. Enjoy a relaxing couple of hours as you create your own hand-painted suncatcher and card, either inspired by your own ideas or guided by the examples provided. On this lovely silk painting workshop, students will be designing and painting a 7 inch sun catcher, and also painting a card which already has an outline. You will also have a piece of silk stretched on a small embroidery hoop to practice on. You can plan your own simple design before you come if you would like to, and bring pictures and sketches. There will also be designs you can copy if you prefer. The paint does stain so don't wear your best clothes! Aprons will be provided. Workshop lasts between 2.5 and 3hours £50. Starts at 10.30am.
