"Beautiful Thing," a 1996 British film,tells the story of two teenage boys, Jamie and Ste, who form a romantic connection during a hot summer on a housing estate in South London. Jamie, a shy and sensitive boy, and Ste, a popular sports player but victim of domestic abuse, find solace in each other amidst their personal struggles.
