Join Spire Cycling Club for a fun ride with Spire Cycling Club through the trails to Pleasley Vale
Time: 9.15am meet for 9.30am departure
Location: Queen's Park Sports Centre
Come join Spire Cycling Club for a ride through scenic trails out to Pleasley Vale! This event is perfect for cyclists looking for a fun and challenging adventure. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned rider, this ride offers something for everyone. Don't miss out on the opportunity to explore local landscapes
-Around 32 miles/4 hours of riding at a steady pace.
-Through the Avenue trail then the 5 pits trail to Teversal (coffee stop) then looping around Pleasley Vale and return (roads) via Hardwick Hall, undulating with a couple of steeper pitches.
-Trails are mostly well surfaced - suitable for hybrid/gravel/mtb (and e-bike). Please have at least 1 spare tube of an appropriate size.
-This is fairly typical of a shorter Chesterfield Spire βtouringβ ride. There are usually 2 or 3 groups out on the midweek rides giving a choice of more, or less energetic excursions. We aim to ride in a safe and considerate fashion.
